Imogen Cunningham (1883-1976) is a world-renowned photographer. Some of her accomplishments include being elected a Fellow of the National Academy of Arts and Sciences, being honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree by the California College of Arts and Crafts, Oakland, and being awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship. The University of Washington Press published her first book, and the Smithsonian Institution purchased a major collection of hers. Her style of photography is mostly street shots, portraits and nature pictures, similar to my own style. She is a grand inspiration to myself and many other young female photographers.
